About The Position

The Retail Merchandising Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate adheres to operational, merchandise, loss prevention, and safety standards, and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs.

The role supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; processes customer purchases and returns accurately; promotes credit and loyalty programs; and follows company merchandising procedures. The associate prepares merchandise for the sales floor, participates in store recovery and cleanliness, supports shrink reduction goals, and provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Engage and interact with customers to deliver a highly satisfied customer experience.
• Model customer experience practices with internal and external customers.

• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
