About The Position

TJ Maxx is seeking a part-time Retail Merchandising Associate/Cashier. This role is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate will adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained to support various store needs. The position involves accurately processing customer purchases and returns, promoting loyalty programs, maintaining merchandising standards, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. The role also includes store recovery, maintaining cleanliness, providing and accepting feedback, supporting shrink reduction goals, and ensuring a safe environment. Responsibilities

Delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers.
Maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
Accurately ringing customer purchases/returns and counting change.
Promoting credit and loyalty programs.
Maintaining merchandising philosophy and following established merchandising procedures and standards.
Accurately processing and preparing merchandise for the sales floor.
Initiating and participating in store recovery as needed.
Maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participating in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
Providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
Participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment.
Other duties as assigned.
