About The Position

Kalan is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Retail Merchandiser to maintain product displays in assigned retail stores. This independent contractor role involves short assignments, usually two visits per month and increasing to weekly during the holiday season. Merchandisers work independently and are paid a flat rate per visit.

Requirements

Be reliable, professional, and punctual, and able to work independently.
Have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Be comfortable using a smartphone or tablet with internet access for reporting.
Be able to follow written instructions and communicate by email or phone.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Be able to regularly lift 40 pounds and reach, bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and walk.
Be able to stand for several hours at a time.

Merchandising or retail experience.

Responsibilities

Merchandise and display products in the assigned store within five days of shipment arrival.
Use a planogram to organize and refresh product displays.
Remove damaged or discontinued items.
Take date-stamped photos of completed work and upload them through the reporting system.
Email an invoice for payment after each completed visit.
