They must keep the store in pristine condition, making sure shelves are stocked and all displays are maintained in presentable fashion. The Retail Attendant must have good knowledge of all retail products and be able to offer assistance and recommendations to increase sales.

Requirements

  • High school diploma: college degree preferred.
  • Previous retail experience is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service attitude
  • Computer proficiency, including resort PMS and POS systems and Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain the store in good condition.

Responsibilities

  • Assist guests with purchases of merchandise or other questions.
  • Refunds, exchanges, room charges, employee discounts, gift certificates, promotions, credit card purchases,
  • Pack orders to be shipped.
  • Maintain work area clean and organized.
  • Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Stock, replenish and retrieve merchandise and supplies.
  • Ensure all merchandise is correctly ticketed and priced.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Provide guests with directions.
  • Assist with retail inventories.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings.
  • Close retail stores.
  • Open retail stores.
