About The Position

Franklin Retail Solutions is seeking a part-time Retail Merchandiser (Sell-Through Specialist / Brand Rep) to work in sporting goods stores in the San Jose, California area. The role involves organizing, styling, and showcasing brands, while sharing observations that can improve customers’ shopping experiences. The position offers flexible scheduling and independent work. Store visits typically take place on weekdays, and the merchandiser stays connected with the team remotely. Franklin Retail Solutions works with brands in the sports, outdoor, fitness, and health industries. It develops retail marketing, merchandising, and training programs; manages a network of more than 500 field professionals; and analyzes program results for the brands it represents.

Responsibilities

Use the MVP platform to review projects, schedule store visits, and submit reports.
Communicate and build relationships with store managers and staff.
Follow planograms and create effective product displays.
Take before-and-after photographs of merchandising work.
Observe what is and is not working in stores and share those insights with the company.
Manage time and territory while working independently and communicating remotely.
Complete professionally written online reports.
