About The Position

Kalan is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Retail Merchandiser to maintain product displays at assigned retail stores in West Plains, Missouri. This part-time independent contractor role involves short, self-managed store visits, usually twice per month and increasing to weekly during the holiday season. Merchandisers are paid a flat rate per visit and submit an invoice by email after each completed visit. Work is performed in person at assigned stores.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be reliable, professional, and punctual, with the ability to work independently.
Have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Be comfortable using a smartphone or tablet with internet access for reporting.
Be able to follow written instructions and communicate by email or phone.
Be able to regularly lift 40 pounds, reach, bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and walk.
Be able to stand for several hours at a time.

Merchandising or retail experience.

Responsibilities

Merchandise and display products at the assigned store within five days of shipment arrival.
Use a planogram to organize and refresh product displays.
Remove damaged or discontinued items.
Take date-stamped photos of completed work and upload them through the reporting system.
Email an invoice for payment after each completed visit.
