About The Position

The Seasonal Part Time Retail Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience practices, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate follows operational, merchandise, loss prevention, labor, and safety standards, and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs.

The role includes processing customer purchases and returns, supporting credit and loyalty programs, preparing and merchandising products for the sales floor, and maintaining store recovery and cleanliness. Associates support a positive store culture, participate in shrink-reduction efforts, and provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience through customer engagement and established customer experience practices.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow the company’s merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain sales floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards, and help maintain and clean the entire store.
• Adhere to operational, merchandise, loss prevention, labor, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
