The Retail Manager supervises one or more of the Sales Departments within the store. This includes responsibility for merchandise presentation, inventory control, pricing, sales enhancements, staff selection and development, and customer service activities. The role involves supporting a strong commitment to world-class customer service, ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience, and meeting or exceeding financial and sales plans set by the Company. The manager will also be responsible for opening and closing the store, acting as Manager on Duty, maintaining planograms, staffing departments with service-oriented associates, interviewing, selection, training, performance appraisals, work schedules, coaching, and motivating associates. Additionally, the manager will resolve customer and associate issues, and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. A key aspect of the role is providing a legendary customer experience by assisting customers with buying decisions, identifying and evaluating their needs, making product recommendations, and promoting company programs.
