The Hunting Retail Manager supervises the Hunting/Firearms Departments within the store to include compliance standards with all applicable laws and company policies, merchandise presentation, inventory control, pricing, sales enhancements, Outfitter selection development training and customer service activities. This role leads firearm compliance sales standards, safe handling, and operational standards within the firearms department. The manager supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service, meets or exceeds financial and sales plans, and is responsible for opening and closing the store as the Manager on Duty. They maintain planograms, staff departments with service-oriented associates, participate in interviewing and selection, coordinate training, prepare performance appraisals, recommend increases, prepare weekly work schedules, and coach associates to promote positive customer relations and a productive team-oriented work environment. The manager resolves customer and Outfitter issues and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. They provide a legendary customer experience by assisting customers with buying decisions, identifying needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs like CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pickup.
