The Retail Manager supervises one or more of the Sales Departments within the store to include the merchandise presentation, inventory control, pricing, sales enhancements, staff selection and development and customer service activities. This role supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. The manager is responsible for meeting or exceeding financial plans and executing sales plans as directed by the Company. They will also be responsible for opening and closing the store and obtaining "Manager on Duty" responsibilities. Maintaining planograms as set by the Corporate Office, staffing departments with service-oriented associates, interviewing, selection, training, performance appraisals, recommending increases, preparing work schedules, and coaching associates are key functions. The manager resolves customer and associate issues and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Providing a legendary experience for every customer by assisting them in making buying decisions, identifying and evaluating customer needs, making product recommendations, and promoting company programs are essential.
