About The Position

TJX US Stores offers a summer internship in Retail Management, where interns learn retail sales, customer service, merchandising, and store operations in a supported, collaborative, fast-paced environment. The internship emphasizes both customer and Associate experience, with learning facilitated through job shadowing and ongoing mentorship from Human Resources, Store, and District leaders. Interns receive classroom learning, on-the-job training, and leadership development while gaining exposure to the daily operations of a multi-million-dollar store and two critical areas: Merchandise Standards & Presentation and Operating Processes & Execution. Interns learn merchandise presentation, seasonal planning, shop setup, feature creation, store signage, sales drivers, merchandise reporting, and sales tracking. They also learn operating systems and processes involving frontline leadership, scheduling, timekeeping, labor planning, payroll, hiring, onboarding, training, development, performance management, and planning activities to meet operating goals. The experience also includes an operational project and final presentation to executive leadership, volunteering, an executive-led speaker series, and networking events. The role is based at the HomeGoods store at 10330 N 90th St, Scottsdale, Arizona. The internship pays $23.00 per hour; actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. High-performing interns who successfully complete the internship may be offered a future role as an Assistant Store Manager and will enter the Management Training Program before placement in an assigned store.
