In this role you will prepare and processes mortgage & consumer loans accurately and within time constraints. Promote goodwill for the Bank through customer service.

Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Degree
Previous experience with secretarial skills
Previous customer service experience
Proficiency with Word
Proficiency with Excel
Knowledge and proficiency with MS Office Products required.
Keyboarding proficiency is necessary.
Must be able to meet deadlines
Must be attentive to detail.

Nice To Haves

At least two years prior loan experience.

Responsibilities

Processes consumer & mortgage loan applications and tracks information.
Provides early disclosures.
Orders verifications, prepares file for credit decisions.
Prepares loan documents, closes new loan accounts, interfacing the new account on the core system and runs TMS to advance and activate the loan.
Verifies and funds loans with title agencies.
Review of all documentation: Validate signatures are present & notarized as applicable, ensures all required documents are present and loaded to Director in a timely manner.
Ensure all missing documents for loan files are tracked and obtained in a timely manner.
Ensure Exception report includes all loan exceptions prior to loan closing.
Manages & maintain all servicing functions on loans from inception through final payment.
Assists other employees as necessary.
Prepares mortgage loan releases, loan modification agreements, etc.
Processes escrow draws for repairs/insurance claims on funds held.
Provides customer service via telephone (missing coupon books, payment questions, etc.)
Prepare routine correspondences and reports.
This position requires on-site presence for regular, successful performance: teamwork, face-to-face interaction with peers/management and the ability to utilize the in-house software and hardware are required. Adherence to the Bank attendance policy is required as an essential function of this position.
Must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and instructions: must get along with co-workers or peers without exhibiting behavioral extremes; be able to perform work activities requiring negotiating, instructing, supervising, persuading or speaking with others; and respond appropriately to criticism from a supervisor.
