What would you do as a Retail Loan Operations Specialist I As a Retail Loan Operations Specialist I at Mercantile Bank, your daily responsibilities will involve booking new retail loans to the core, loan file maintenance, and verifying data input for accuracy and completeness. Additional responsibilities will also include updating loan information, loan coding, collateral data and payment posting corrections. You will review and process daily reports, payoffs and incoming wires as well as perform daily balancing of general ledger accounts. You will also engage in regular training sessions to develop your skills and stay updated on industry regulations. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
