About The Position

McCarthy is hiring Retail Lead Generation Specialists to represent ARS-Rescue Rooter's HVAC and plumbing services inside national home improvement retail stores. This role offers an hourly pay plus uncapped commission, with an average earning potential of $20-$30 per hour. The schedule is flexible, requiring weekend availability, and typically falls between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available. This position does not involve door-to-door canvassing or cold calling. Full-time employees are eligible for insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and holiday pay.

Requirements

• Outgoing personality and willingness to speak with shoppers
• Ability to stand and walk during shifts
• Weekend and some holiday availability
• Reliable transportation
• Clean, professional appearance representing the ARS brand
• Ability to attend weekly in-office meetings
• Employment is contingent on a background check in accordance with applicable law

Nice To Haves

• Retail, kiosk, Door-to-Door, or sales experience preferred (not required)
• No HVAC experience is required

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in a retail store environment.
• Approach shoppers and start friendly, professional conversations.
• Ask questions to understand customers' home comfort needs.
• Educate customers about HVAC, plumbing, tune-ups, replacements, and indoor air quality solutions.
• Generate qualified leads and schedule in-home consultations or service appointments.
• Represent the ARS brand professionally and enthusiastically.
• Work toward individual and team lead-generation goals.
• Provide a positive customer experience from the first conversation.
