About The Position
The Vitamin Shoppe is seeking a part-time Retail Key Holder to support the store’s management team and help create personalized, memorable shopping experiences. The role involves engaging customers, building loyalty and sales, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring the store is well stocked, accurately priced, and maintained. The Key Holder may act as Manager On Duty when the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or another Key Holder is absent. The position requires schedule flexibility based on business needs, including possible weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
- Enthusiasm and ability to effectively engage customers and Health Enthusiasts.
- Passion for the health and wellness industry.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends, depending on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Support the Management Team and execute store operations with excellence.
- Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals while supporting coworkers in doing the same.
- Build customer loyalty through personalized connections and memorable shopping experiences, including recommending products and building baskets.
- Act with integrity and serve as Manager On Duty in the absence of the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Key Holder.
- Process customer transactions efficiently, merchandise shelves, and price products accurately.
- Develop product knowledge through continuous learning activities.
- Collaborate with the store team, referred to as Health Enthusiasts.
- Perform regular store maintenance, follow loss-prevention standards, process product receipts on time, and keep shelves stocked and products accurately priced.
- Perform additional duties as required.
