Retail Inventory Associate – Driver
About The Position
WIS International is looking for active individuals to join their team as Retail Inventory Associates – Drivers. This part-time role involves accurately counting inventory for top retailers. No prior inventory experience is needed, as comprehensive training is provided. The position offers flexible scheduling, paid training, and performance-based pay increases, with a starting wage of $16.00 - $18.00 per hour. Drivers are responsible for safely transporting employees to and from inventory events, counting and recording retail inventory using handheld scanners, maintaining accuracy, meeting productivity goals, and traveling to various retail locations. The role emphasizes a strong work ethic, dependability, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team, utilizing handheld technology.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license within the state of residence for a minimum of 36 consecutive months
- At least 21 years old to be a qualified van driver and at least 18 years old to drive a personal vehicle for business needs
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using handheld technology
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- A minimum of three (3) years proven driving experience
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment investigative consumer report, pre-employment screening and MVR check
- Familiarity with GPS devices and how to navigate to assigned locations
- Availability to work flexible schedules with varying hours, including very early mornings and/or late nights
Nice To Haves
- Retail, stocking, merchandising, warehouse, customer service, cashier, delivery driver, gamer, athlete, coaches, and general labor experience are all valuable backgrounds for this position.
