About The Position

David Yurman’s Summer 2027 Internship Program is a paid, nine-week immersive experience in New York City for students and emerging professionals interested in the luxury jewelry industry. Interns work with expert teams across departments and gain hands-on experience in retail operations, luxury branding, and the jewelry business. The program also provides networking events, mentorship, and industry insights. The Retail Intern contributes to projects affecting retail performance, store operations, client engagement, and events, working with leaders across these areas. The intern visits local stores one to two days per week to work with store teams and clients, and spends the rest of the time at the NY Vestry office. The position reports to the Vice President, Retail Operations. The program runs June 7 through August 6, 2027, and offers an estimated pay rate of $25 per hour along with weekly learning, social, and networking events.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in undergraduate studies in a related field.
Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Proactive, eager to learn, and collaborative approach.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Contribute to initiatives and project work impacting retail performance, store operations, client engagement, and events.
Collaborate with leaders across retail performance, store operations, client engagement, and events.
Assist with launching a new point-of-sale system and scheduling tools.
Plan a learning and reward trip for the top sales team.
Support client loyalty programming and related clienteling initiatives.
Visit local stores one to two days per week to work with store teams and clients.
