About The Position
The David Yurman Summer 2027 Internship is a paid, nine-week immersive program in New York City for students and emerging professionals interested in the luxury jewelry industry. Interns work with experienced teams across departments and gain hands-on exposure to retail performance, store operations, client engagement, events, luxury branding, and jewelry craftsmanship. The program also includes networking events, mentorship, and industry insights. The internship runs from June 7 through August 6, 2027. The work arrangement is hybrid, with visits to local stores one to two days per week and the remaining time spent at the New York Vestry office.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in undergraduate studies in a related field.
- Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Proactive, eager-to-learn, and collaborative approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to current initiatives and real projects that affect retail performance, store operations, client engagement, and events, collaborating with leaders across these areas.
- Assist with the launch of a new point-of-sale system and scheduling tools.
- Help plan a learning and reward trip for the top sales team.
- Support client loyalty programming and related clienteling initiatives.
- Visit local stores one to two days per week and work with store teams and clients.
