About The Position

This role involves installing heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment in occupied residential homes and construction sites, adhering to company and manufacturer specifications. The installer will test systems, identify and repair issues, and complete necessary paperwork. Fabrication and installation of ductwork are also key responsibilities, along with maintaining a safe work environment. The majority of the work is performed in the field, with minimal office time. The role requires travel to various work locations and exposure to diverse working conditions, including different weather and construction site environments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (experience may be substituted for education).
• Prior HVAC installation experience.
• Ability to read installation plans/documents.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Beginner computing skills and ability to use a computer, laptop, or tablet.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work overtime with little notice.
• Willingness to learn and be a part of a team.
• Positive attitude and a team player.
• Ability to build positive relationships with customers, both internal and external.
• Willingness and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
• Safety mindset and acceptance of a safety culture.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC trade school certification.
• 1-2 years’ experience in construction, HVAC, or related experience.
• EPA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Install heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment according to company requirements and manufacturer specifications.
• Test installed systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Identify and resolve issues with HVAC systems and related components.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform start-up on air conditioning systems as needed.
• Fabricate and install various ducts and duct fittings.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain and clean the work area upon completion of tasks.
