About The Position
Retail Hourly Clerks work in various store departments to create an uplifting customer experience through exceptional service. Associates are expected to be friendly and caring toward customers and coworkers and contribute to a shared goal of serving customers. Depending on the position and department, duties may include checkout and bagging, stocking shelves and building displays, fulfilling online orders, preparing and serving deli items, baking and decorating, preparing coffees, creating floral arrangements, preparing produce, or cutting and serving meat and seafood. Applications are accepted for cashier, bagger, e-Commerce clerk, grocery clerk, produce clerk, meat clerk, deli clerk, and bakery clerk positions.
Requirements
- Customer service skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic math.

Responsibilities
- Assist customers at checkout and bag groceries.
- Build attractive displays and stock shelves.
- Select and gather products to fulfill customers’ online orders.
- Prepare gourmet dishes and artisan sandwiches, and serve local and imported cheeses.
- Bake fresh breads and cookies, decorate cakes, and serve personalized coffees.
- Create artistic floral arrangements.
- Prepare fresh-cut fruits and vegetables.
- Cut and serve meat and seafood.
- Contribute in other areas to provide extraordinary customer service.
