About The Position

Pilot Flying J is seeking an experienced Retail General Manager to oversee high-volume retail facilities. The role is responsible for generating and executing travel center and restaurant business plans to meet established standards and achieve sales, profit, and customer satisfaction objectives. The manager ensures customer expectations are met, conducts meetings with subordinate employees, and maintains effective vendor relationships. The Retail General Manager builds, coaches, manages, and develops teams, including staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training. Additional duties include driving sales, managing team members, tracking inventory, providing customer service, and performing profit-and-loss analysis. The stated starting pay range is $54,300.00–$80,750.00 per year.

Requirements

At least 2–3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, grocery, or another service industry, with responsibility for financial results.
Previous management proficiency in high-volume retail with P&L accountability.
Ability to create and maintain a customer-focused culture.
Integrity and accountability at the managerial level.
Excellent team leadership skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
