Furniture Mart is looking for a hardworking and dependable Retail Furniture Stockroom Associate to join our team in New Orleans, LA! In this hands-on role, you'll be the backbone of our showroom operations — keeping inventory organized, product moving, and customers happy. Requirements

• Prior experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or retail environment preferred
• Ability to lift and move heavy furniture items (up to 50–100 lbs) regularly
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Basic familiarity with inventory systems or willingness to learn
• Positive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process incoming furniture shipments and deliveries
• Organize and maintain stockroom and showroom displays
• Pull, stage, and prepare furniture orders for customer pickup or floor display
• Assist with customers on sales floor as needed
• Conduct routine inventory counts and report discrepancies to management
• Safely operate hand trucks, dollies, and other material handling equipment
• Keep stockroom and showroom clean, safe, and compliant with company standards
