About The Position
The Retail Freight Associate, internally titled Receiving Specialist, assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The role handles freight, supports merchandising, helps maintain an organized receiving area, and contributes to efficient store operations. Requirements
- A positive attitude and ability to work well as a team player with customers and associates.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to bend, twist, grip, reach, and pinch frequently.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving truck deliveries and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
- Support pricing items, merchandising products, and recovering the store.
- Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
- Maintain a neat and organized receiving area.
- Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
