About The Position

The Retail Freight Associate, internally titled Receiving Specialist, assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The role handles freight, supports merchandising, maintains an organized receiving area, and helps ensure efficient store operations. The position requires regular availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, along with physical work that includes lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, gripping, reaching, pinching, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements

• A positive attitude and ability to work well with customers and Associates.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to bend, twist, grip, reach, and pinch frequently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving trucks and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising products, and recovering the store.
• Support training new Associates.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
