About The Position

Field, POS, Smart Lock Access & Network technicians are encouraged to apply. Technicians handle a wide range of installations, repairs, breakfix, and upgrades for retail security products, including POS systems, networks, networked devices, access points, routers, switches, and RFID smart lock access. They also set up and troubleshoot connections in various environments, connecting devices with physical cables or wireless frequencies to ensure adequate signal strength for clients.

Requirements

• Current Driver’s License, insurance, and a vehicle.
• Previous IT or Related technical technician experience is required.
• Technically inclined – experience with Cabling runs/ management/ testing/ terminating, Network provisioning.
• Excellent communication skills via phone, text, and email.
• Smart Phone mobile device.
• Flexible availability.
• Frequent use of hand tools.
• Travel is required in various markets.
• Lifting 60lbs or more.
• Able to climb up and down ladders.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Superior knowledge of various networking technologies.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Aptitude for customer support.
• Over the age of 18.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications are a plus but not required.
• POS experience is a plus.
