About The Position
Flexible Project Based - Field & Network technicians handle implementing, maintaining, upgrading, and or repairing networks/ networked devices such as access point, router, switches, POS systems, printers, and modems. Set up and troubleshoot connections in many different environments and connect them with physical cables or wireless frequencies, creating adequate signal strength throughout a location for a client's use.
Requirements
- Previous IT or Related technical technician experience is required.
- Over the age of 18.
Nice To Haves
- POS is a plus!
- Certifications are a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Current Driver’s License, insurance, and a vehicle.
- Technically inclined – experience with Cabling runs/ management/ testing/ terminating, Network provisioning.
- Excellent communication skills via phone, text, and email.
- Smart Phone mobile device.
- Flexible availability.
- Frequent use of hand tools.
- Travel is required in various markets.
- Lifting 60lbs or more.
- Able to climb up and down ladders.
- Testing networks Wi-Fi signals, heat mapping.
- Installing, troubleshooting access points, routers, switches.
