About The Position

Trademark Property Company is seeking a dynamic, hospitality-driven Retail Experience & Place Activation Manager to serve as their on-site lead, bringing the retail brand and destination vision to life. This role is crucial for translating marketing and brand strategies into tangible, memorable on-site interactions that foster community, elevate guest satisfaction, and maximize asset performance. The ideal candidate is a high-energy, versatile self-starter who excels at balancing creative event curation with meticulous operational and budget management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Four (4) or more years of progressive, hands-on experience in event planning and execution, with exposure to retail marketing, commercial real estate, or place activation.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office products and all forms of digital communication/social media platforms.
  • Practical proficiency with budget creation, financial tracking, and ledger forecasting.
  • Proven self-starter with a high-energy, versatile professional style, capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Above-average ability to organize workflows, manage time, set priorities, and multi-task while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively and professionally with people at all levels.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to ensuring brand execution meets first-class standards.

  • Ability to stand and walk up to several hours per day, navigate stairs, and lift or move setup infrastructure weighing up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Execute approved asset-level marketing strategies, campaigns, and lifestyle initiatives in alignment with corporate goals.
  • Direct the field execution of the property's annual plan and approved operating budget.
  • Oversee and maintain local property calendars to ensure synchronization with campaign timing and on-site readiness.
  • Coordinate the on-site execution of creative, digital, and traditional marketing channels in partnership with Central Marketing and external vendors.
  • Plan, manage, and execute community events, seasonal programming, destination activations, and merchant grand openings.
  • Supervise third-party vendors, manage operational timelines, secure municipal permits, and lead on-site logistics.
  • Partner with tenants and property management team members to deliver experiential moments that drive customer traffic and merchant sales.
  • Provide on-site support across retail, mixed-use, and destination programming, including evenings and weekends.
  • Deliver customer-facing experiences, activations, and local communications that reinforce destination positioning.
  • Serve as a visible on-site presence during key traffic moments, acting as a conduit for hospitality, community, and placement standards.
  • Gather, analyze, and share customer feedback and operational insights.
  • Serve as the primary on-site partner to tenants, fostering relationships with retailers, community partners, and local organizations.
  • Ensure on-site experiences, events, temporary signage, and printed collateral comply with corporate brand and place standards.
  • Identify and flag operational risks, brand deviations, or local sensitivities, escalating them to leadership.
  • Collaborate with and approve third-party agency's local content calendars by capturing and publishing on-site content.
  • Ensure local social media outputs reinforce place positioning and share digital insights to optimize planning.
  • Create and manage the asset-level budget, tracking event-related expenses and driving budget forecasting.
  • Manage the routing and processing of approved vendor invoices related to property experiences.
  • Partner with the property-level PR agency and Corporate Communications teams to deliver press releases, maintain messaging consistency, and execute media moments.
  • Act as a conduit between on-site teams and Central Marketing, feeding ground-level insights upward to optimize corporate strategies.
