About The Position

The Retail Employee / Project Specialist performs a range of duties to provide customers with an excellent experience while shopping in the store or picking up an order. The role connects with customers to help solve organizational challenges and sells custom closets and other storage and organization solutions. It also supports checkout, merchandise processing, sales-floor presentation, order fulfillment, carryout, cleaning, and stockroom organization.

Requirements

High school diploma preferred.
Retail sales experience is a plus.
Strong computer skills.
Enjoy engaging with people and connecting with customers.
Flexibility in scheduling, recognizing that retail is an ever-changing industry.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Welcome and greet customers at the store entrance or throughout the store.
Connect with customers and suggest solutions to their organizational challenges.
Design and sell custom closets and other storage and organization solutions.
Operate the register while focusing on a positive customer checkout experience.
Introduce customers to and enroll them in the rewards program.
Process merchandise during early mornings or evenings, depending on the schedule.
Maintain the sales floor by keeping shelves stocked and presented according to brand standards.
Help carry purchases to customers’ cars, including curbside or parking lot/garage carryout.
Assist with store cleaning, including dusting, restroom cleaning, and vacuuming.
Process customer orders for curbside pickup and/or delivery.
Organize and maintain the stockroom to support the store’s selling efforts.
Meet established task time expectations while working accurately and on time, with pace and attention to detail.
Actively engage customers to solve their organizational challenges.
