About The Position

Optoma is seeking a Retail & Ecommerce Presales Specialist to help grow projector sales through retail and online channels. This person will support account teams with product recommendations, sales materials, promotions, and performance analysis. The role combines customer facing sales support with hands-on ecommerce execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred; Marketing or a related field is also welcome.
• 3-5 years of related sales experience, preferably in consumer electronics, retail, ecommerce, or channel sales.
• Strong Excel skills for sales analysis and reporting, and PowerPoint skills for persuasive customer presentations.
• Familiarity with ecommerce, social media, and digital marketing.
• Clear communication, strong follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple launches and account requests.

Nice To Haves

• Direct knowledge of and Amazon Vendor Central, Seller Central, Amazon retail operations, or Amazon advertising is a plus.
• Preferred experience working with Amazon Vendor Manager.
• Projector or display industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support retail and ecommerce partners before the sale by recommending the right Optoma products, answering product questions, and preparing comparisons and presentations.
• Help launch and maintain products on Amazon and other retail websites, including listings, images, product copy, and promotional content.
• Analyze sales, inventory, pricing, traffic, and promotional results; turn findings into clear recommendations.
• Coordinate product launches, seasonal promotions, and retailer requests with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Operations.
• Develop sales training materials and communicate key product benefits to retail partners and internal teams.
• Work with Marketing on digital campaigns, social media, creator content, and other programs that bring shoppers to retail listings.
• Monitor competing products, pricing, and customer feedback to identify sales opportunities.
