About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Retail Dining Manager to create and deliver innovative and enriching cafe experiences for patients, family, and staff daily at St Joseph's Hospital in Nashua, NH. This role focuses on delivering high-quality food service, mentoring and developing frontline staff, and utilizing Sodexo's 'gold check' tools and Retail Ranger to ensure an excellent customer experience. The manager will support the patient service food and culinary operations team, develop and maintain client and customer relationships, direct daily operations of food quality and customer service in a retail food operation (potentially including branded concepts), ensure staff have appropriate resources, and manage cash handling protocols according to Sodexo policies. This position is ideal for restaurant and food service managers seeking a stable career with better work-life balance in a growing industry.

Requirements

  • Strong production culinary background, ideally in an up-scale restaurant/retail/catering environment.
  • Familiarity with patient food services, allergies, specialized diets, etc.
  • Experience leading and engaging a culinary and/or food services team.
  • Servsafe certified.
  • Working knowledge of HACCP.
  • Experience with Health and Safety audits.
  • Minimum 1 year of management experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent.

  • Familiarity with Sodexo processes and systems.
