About The Position

JARS Cannabis is hiring full-time Delivery Drivers to safely and professionally deliver cannabis products to customers. This fast-paced, customer-facing role combines driving, compliance, and cash handling. Drivers represent JARS at customers’ doors and are expected to demonstrate professionalism and attention to detail at every stop. JARS provides a company vehicle for deliveries; drivers do not use their personal cars. New drivers receive full budtender training at a nearby retail location before completing driver-specific training. Cannabis industry experience is not required. The position offers opportunities to grow within an expanding company. The role is full-time, with a five-days-on, two-days-off schedule and eight-hour shifts. New hires must have open availability for the shifts assigned by location: opening (7:30 AM–3:30 PM), mid (11:30 AM–7:30 PM), or closing (2:30 PM–10:30 PM). Deliveries run in two-hour windows throughout the day, creating a steady, structured pace. Tips are pooled and distributed based on hours worked. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and pass a standard background check and fingerprint background check. Drivers typically need to be at least 25 to qualify for coverage under the company vehicle insurance policy. Applicants must have prior driving experience and a clean Arizona driving record for the past five years, and pass an MVR check. Personal driving history may affect eligibility to drive a JARS vehicle.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years old to work at JARS.

Have prior driving experience.
Have a clean driving record in Arizona for the past five years.
Pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
Pass a standard background check and fingerprint background check.
Have open availability for the shifts assigned by location.
Be able to regularly lift and carry delivery bags, sit for extended periods while driving, repeatedly get in and out of a vehicle, walk to doors and buildings in all weather, and stand and move throughout an eight-hour shift.

Responsibilities

Safely deliver cannabis products to customers’ homes in accordance with state and local cannabis delivery laws.
Handle and count cash payments accurately and professionally, including collecting tips.
Communicate with Dispatch throughout the shift to confirm routes, report delays or issues, and receive direction on order changes.
Use in-vehicle technology and company apps to navigate routes, track deliveries, and log completed stops.
Follow safety protocols, including wearing a body camera during customer interactions and never entering a customer’s residence.
Perform basic pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
Assist with other duties as needed, including order staging, inventory support, and packaging.
