About The Position

Love’s cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, keep assigned areas clean, and provide customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service. Duties vary according to business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are important. No prior experience is required; training is provided. Cashiers may also cross-train in other departments, including Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.

Requirements

• Ability to move and lift more than 25 pounds.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Flexibility and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
• Complete customer transactions, balance the cash register, and offer additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws.
• Use methods and technology to ensure fresh food and deli products meet proper food safety conditions.
• Clean the assigned work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas and diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
• Flexibly perform duties according to business needs and work as part of a team.
• Potentially cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
