About The Position

As a Retail Coverage Merchandiser II at Acosta, you will represent Acosta’s client, Newell Brands, in Walmart stores and carry out retail merchandising activities to support product availability and visibility. You will work independently across assigned retail locations, coordinate with Walmart store personnel and Acosta team members, and use a company-issued mobile device to document work. Scheduled work is Monday through Friday. Training and certification are provided by retail experts. Health plan options include no-copay telemedicine, regardless of hours worked.

Requirements

• Access to reliable transportation to travel among multiple retail locations in the area.
• Ability to routinely lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, meet work timeframes, and report completed work the same day.
• Effective communication with store associates, managers, and team members.
• Ability to work independently in assigned stores.

Responsibilities

• Locate merchandise in Walmart backrooms and place products on the sales floor.
• Stock and pack out products, routinely lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Front-face products so shelves look their best.
• Receive marketing and promotional materials at home and bring them to the store.
• Install and place promotional materials according to instructions.
• Build displays to showcase client products as needed.
• Answer step-by-step questions in Acosta field technology using a company-issued mobile device.
• Take photos of completed work and provide accurate, concise work data.
• Represent Acosta and its clients in assigned Walmart stores.
• Partner with Walmart store management and associates to complete work.
• Collaborate with the direct manager by email, phone, and text, and seek assistance with in-store challenges.
• Complete work within the provided timeframe, follow detailed instructions, and report work on the same day it is completed.
• Communicate effectively with store associates, managers, and Acosta team members; share best practices with the Walmart team.
