Retail Coordinator (Full Time)
About The Position
Coordinates activities of workers in department of retail stores by performing the following duties. This role requires excellent guest service, familiarity with inventory management, and the ability to enter retail information into computer systems. Responsibilities include monthly inventory, purchase requisitions, price application, recording merchandise delivery, comparing records with orders, reporting discrepancies, and inspecting merchandise for correct pricing. The role also involves recommending merchandise additions or deletions, taking phone and mail orders, coordinating sales promotions, and preparing merchandise displays and advertising copy. Gaming experience is not required.
Requirements
- Good computer skills
- Able to quickly learn retail software programs
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- 6 months to 1 year experience in cashiering and guest services
- Able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties
- Able to walk up to 1 mile
- Able to climb stairs
- Able to sit at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift
- Able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis
- Sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone
Responsibilities
- Provides excellent guest service

- Applying prices to merchandise
- Records delivery of merchandise, compares records with merchandise ordered, and reports discrepancies
- Inspects merchandise to ensure it is correctly priced
- Recommends additions to or deletions of merchandise to be sold in department
- Take orders over the phone and mail via UPS adding shipping charges to bill amount and charging credit cards appropriately
- Coordinates sales promotions activities
- Prepares, or directs workers preparing, merchandise displays and advertising copy
