Retail Coordinator (Full Time)
About The Position
Coordinates activities of workers in department of retail stores by performing the following duties. Provides excellent guest service. Be familiar with the inventory. Responsible for monthly inventory, completing purchase requisitions, entering retail information into computer and applying prices. Records delivery of merchandise, compares records with merchandise ordered, and reports discrepancies to control costs and maintain correct inventory level. Inspects merchandise to ensure it is correctly priced. Recommends additions to or deletions of merchandise to be sold in department. Take orders over the phone and mail via UPS adding shipping charges to bill amount and charging credit cards appropriately. Coordinates sales promotions activities and prepares, or directs workers preparing, merchandise displays and advertising copy. GAMING EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIRED
Requirements
- Good computer skills and be able to quickly learn retail software programs
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- 6 months to 1 year experience in cashiering and guest services
