About The Position
The Retail Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Retail departments that support the flagship hotel’s goals in terms of guest satisfaction, team member brand awareness, reputation and sustainability. This role will support the admin and operational tactics of the retail team of 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay through supporting the management of vendors, suppliers, administrative tasks and operational retail support.
Requirements
- Passionate about organization and details with a minimum of 1 year of similar work experience.
- Prior experience in an administrative role, strong organization and technical skills, ability to multi-task and a team player.
- Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
- 2+ years of experience in reservations or guest services, preferably in lifestyle or luxury hospitality
- Passion for the mission and values of 1 Hotels, with general knowledge of sustainability issues
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and service/hospitality orientation
- Team player willing to pitch in to support colleagues in all areas
Nice To Haves
- A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
- Prior experience in retail is a plus.
