About The Position

The Nutrition department at Freeman serves over 1,000 people daily, including patients, families, and visitors in the cafeteria. They employ over 150 individuals and execute hospital and community catering events. The department fosters a strong culture of mentoring and growth for career advancement. This role involves preparing and serving food in the café while providing excellent customer service and anticipating customer needs.

Requirements

• Full Time (40 hours a week)

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves food to employees, patients and visitors in the café, while providing excellent customer service and anticipating the customer’s needs.
• Uses and maintains food service equipment, observing safety standards as outlined by departmental policies.
• Working with other team members, maintains par levels of stock for café related items.
• Serves food in accordance with established guidelines and departmental policies.
• Works quickly and efficiently to complete special requests made by café customers.
