Paguate Mart Clerk (Full-Time)
About The Position
A Retail Clerk is responsible for providing excellent customer service while supporting the daily operations of a retail and convenience store environment. This role includes greeting customers, operating a cash register and point-of-sale system, processing transactions accurately, preparing food and beverages, maintaining merchandise displays, stocking and rotating inventory, and assisting customers with locating products. Retail Clerks are expected to promote products, build positive guest relationships through friendly and professional interactions, and contribute to a welcoming shopping experience. Employees must consistently demonstrate Laguna Development Corporation’s core values, maintain a positive attitude, work collaboratively with team members, and provide dependable service while adhering to company policies and safety standards. In addition to customer service responsibilities, Retail Clerks are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility through a variety of custodial duties, including cleaning restrooms, sales floors, windows, gas pumps, and parking areas. The position requires the ability to work under pressure, maintain regular attendance, and be available for weekends, holidays, and nontraditional hours. Candidates should be at least 18 years old, possess basic math and computer skills, and preferably have previous cashiering or customer service experience. The role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing physically demanding tasks. Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and obtain ServSafe certification within 90 days of hire.
