About The Position
The Retail Cleaning Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, with a focus on floor care. Duties include operating the floor scrubber and buffer; dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot-cleaning glass and windows. The associate follows operational, merchandise, health and safety, and loss-prevention standards and is cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role also helps maintain a positive store culture and customer experience, supports Front End coverage, and participates in store recovery.
Requirements

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate a floor buffer and scrubber.
- Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Maintain floor-care cleanliness standards, including maintaining and operating the scrubber and buffer.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards throughout the store, including the Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, and Restrooms.
- Follow company health and safety policies, including refilling essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End.
- Cross-train and work in other store areas, including the Backroom, Front End, and Sales Floor.
- Support and respond to Front End coverage needs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Follow operational and loss-prevention controls and company guidelines, including shrink-reduction practices.
- Communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates.
- Follow labor laws and company policies and procedures, including meal and break-period policies.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
