About The Position
Arcus is looking to recruit a part-time, permanent In Store Cleaner for the Sainsbury's Murrayfield store. This role involves ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the supermarket for customers. The position requires 8 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71. Immediate start is available. Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week, and Arcus offers various shift patterns, including early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is Sunday from 05:00 to 10:00 and Saturday from 05:00 to 08:00. There are opportunities to increase hours through overtime. Arcus cleaners take pride in maintaining high standards of cleaning within Sainsbury's supermarkets.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied.
- An eye for detail and cleanliness.
- A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
- Must provide a smartphone that has NFC capability to access the Arcus Connect App for recording time and attendance.
Responsibilities
- Complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within Sainsbury's stores.
- Operate machinery.
- Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping.
- Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies.
- Work outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied.
