About The Position
Arcus is looking to recruit a part-time, permanent In Store Cleaner for the Sainsbury's Castle Point store. This role involves ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the supermarket for customers. The position is 20 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71. Immediate start is available. Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week, and Arcus offers various shift patterns, including early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern is provided, and there is an opportunity to increase hours through overtime. Arcus cleaners take pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleaning within Sainsbury's stores.
Requirements
- Must provide a smartphone with NFC capability for the Arcus Connect App.
- An eye for detail and cleanliness.
- A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
Nice To Haves
- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied.
Responsibilities
- Complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within Sainsbury's stores.
- Operate machinery.
- Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping.
- Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies.
- Work outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied.
