About The Position
Performs cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service and dining room facilities. Handles credit card transactions using the Point of Sales system. Operate point-of-sale systems to process card transactions quickly and accurately. Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment. Makes change, accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment; issues receipts to customers. Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring that cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards. Follows standard procedures for issuing cash refunds. Follows cash handling guidelines. Adheres to Levy Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook. Assist customers with product selection and sizing. Responds to guest’s needs and requests, effectively using suggestive and upselling techniques, and maintains service areas. Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Set up and break down merchandise booths before and after events. Maintain organized and visually appealing merchandise displays. Restock inventory during events to ensure product availability. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth booth operations. Follow venue-specific protocols and security procedures. Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures. Support merchandise logistics across multiple venues as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms for one-third to two-thirds or more of the designated shift.
- React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
- Maintain a friendly, energetic, and professional demeanor at all times.
- Be punctual, reliable and available for scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays on event basis.
- Adapt quickly to fast-paced, high-volume environments.
- Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day and stand for duration of entire shift.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English in written and oral form.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and bend.
- Lift, push pull up to 50 lbs.
