About The Position

The Retail Cash Area Supervisor provides consistently high standards of customer experience within the Store in accordance with PUMA’s Brand Values and service standards. This role ensures the store consistently meets or exceeds sales, KPIs, and profitability targets through training cashiers. The supervisor is responsible for using cash registers and accurate processing of all transactions, accurate opening and/or closing of registers and audits, and processing all returns, refunds, exchanges, and customer concerns. Additionally, the role involves ensuring accurate and timely completion of operational and financial reports, adhering to internal policies, safety regulations, and hygiene standards, and handling customer complaints, escalating issues to the Retail Store Manager or Retail Assistant Store Manager as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years in a retail environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Minimum completed full school/vocational school education (i.e. high school diploma), or higher
  • The ability to constantly walk and move about is required.
  • Use of the following senses is critical to this position: speaking, hearing, near and far acuity, depth perception, and field of vision.
  • Ability to lift/carry, push/pull up to 30 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the store consistently meets or exceeds sales, KPIs, and profitability targets through training cashiers
  • Responsible for using cash registers and accurate processing of all transactions
  • Responsible for accurate opening and/or closing of registers and audits
  • Responsible for processing all returns, refunds, exchanges and customer concerns
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of operational and financial reports
  • Adhere to internal policies, safety regulations, and hygiene standards
  • Handle customer complaints and escalate issues to the Retail Store Manager or Retail Assistant Store Manager as needed
  • Managing cash transactions, discounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting
  • Maintaining high standards of customer experience in line with brand values
  • Monitoring staff performance, planning schedules, and ensuring adherence to responsibilities
  • Managing store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cleanliness, and order
  • Adhere to labor and production discipline, safety regulations, and hygiene standards
