Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • At least 2 years of supervising experience in food management
  • Ability to complete required pre-employment food and alcohol service training if needed (TIP's, Servsafe certification)
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and experience working with a POS system
  • Guest service and communication skills
  • Fast-paced problem solving abilities
  • Must be personable, proactive and self-motivated
  • Organized and ability to jump from task to task and prioritize as needed
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Able to adapt to change quickly
  • Punctual and dependable

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and coordinates activities of stand workers in the VIP area.
  • Oversees and/or participates in stand set-up and closing procedures, including counting inventory, preparation, and cleaning.
  • Ensures all workstations remain clean and sufficiently stocked, ordering replacement stock as necessary.
  • Efficiently and accurately completes required paperwork.
  • Ensures all employees adhere to alcohol policies.
  • Supervises staff to ensure food preparation meets guidelines set by Legends Global and the Board of Health.
  • Must be knowledgeable of all positions and willing and able to fill any position in the Premium department if needed.
  • At closing, works with other stand personnel to properly count ending inventory, clean equipment, and organize stock for the following event.
  • Supports all food and beverage operations.
  • Directly supervises staff while having direct interaction with guests.
  • Maintains and controls high volume food and beverage inventory.
  • Trains, educates, and enforces responsible service of alcoholic beverages and evaluates compliance within corporate procedures.
  • Helps develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality.
  • Ensures all cash handling procedures are documented and enforced.
  • Interacts with co-workers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
  • Conducts physical audits of inventory and product, and performs reconciliations.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
