About The Position

Mavens Market is a specialty market and destination for exceptional cheeses, premium meats, artisan oils, gourmet gifts, handcrafted charcuterie, and fresh café favorites. They are looking for dependable, positive individuals who enjoy learning, working as a team, and creating exceptional customer experiences. No previous experience is required, as training will be provided for artisan cheeses, charcuterie, espresso drinks, and café service.

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist guests with friendly, personalized service
Help customers select artisan cheeses, meats, gourmet products, and gifts
Build beautiful custom charcuterie boards for every occasion
Prepare and portion cheeses according to company standards
Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately
Merchandise, stock, rotate, and organize retail displays
Prepare espresso beverages, coffee drinks, sandwiches, salads, paninis, and other café offerings
Scoop and serve gelato
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Wash dishes and assist with general cleaning throughout the market and café
Restock products and supplies as needed
Support teammates and contribute wherever needed to ensure an exceptional guest experience
