About The Position

Mavens Market is a specialty market and a destination for exceptional cheeses, premium meats, artisan oils, gourmet gifts, handcrafted charcuterie, and fresh café favorites. They are looking for dependable, positive individuals who enjoy learning, working as a team, and creating exceptional customer experiences. No previous experience is required, as training will be provided for artisan cheeses, charcuterie, espresso drinks, and café service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests with friendly, personalized service
• Help customers select artisan cheeses, meats, gourmet products, and gifts
• Build beautiful custom charcuterie boards for every occasion
• Prepare and portion cheeses according to company standards
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately
• Merchandise, stock, rotate, and organize retail displays
• Prepare espresso beverages, coffee drinks, sandwiches, salads, paninis, and other café offerings
• Scoop and serve gelato
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Wash dishes and assist with general cleaning throughout the market and café
• Restock products and supplies as needed
• Support teammates and contribute wherever needed to ensure an exceptional guest experience
