About The Position

This internship offers the opportunity to learn the functionalities of a Retail Buyer & Merchandiser while gaining a real-world understanding of product assortment, pricing, and promotion strategies. Interns will contribute to key projects, making impactful contributions to the business, and assist in strategic initiatives by learning, developing, and implementing ideas based on Blain's Pillars. The role involves engaging in cross-functional teams to understand how different functions contribute to overall business success, supporting daily operations to gain insight into departmental processes, and presenting project findings and research to key stakeholders. Interns will also receive mentorship and coaching, with feedback and guidance to help navigate their career paths, and participate in hands-on workshops led by industry experts to gain valuable insights and skills.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as an incoming Junior or Senior at an accredited college or university
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Valid driver’s license required
• Strong communication, writing & time management skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities

Responsibilities

• Assist in Strategic Initiatives: Learn, develop, and implement ideas based off Blain's Pillars.
• Engage in cross-functional teams: Collaborate with different functions to understand how cross functional support contributes to the overall success of the business.
• Support Daily Operations: Assist the team with day-to-day task to gain insight on the departments process.
• Present Your Findings: Deliver a presentation of your project and research to key stakeholders.
• Receive mentor and coaching: Work closely with your mentor receiving feedback and guidance to help you navigate your career path.
• Participate in hands-on workshops: Led by industry experts, gain valuable insights and skills to equip you for success in the professional world.
