We stand on two legs, our shop in Shop concept with 80 doors, and our franchise organisation with 20 stores around Sweden To deliver on the Electrolux Home Strategy & Vision, the Retail Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in accelerating store performance, enhancing operational support, and driving business development and growth across the network. More about the role As Retail Business Development Manager, you play an important role in driving growth and operational excellence across our franchise network. You will be responsible for implementing strategic initiatives that enhance store sales performance and accelerate speed to market for new concepts and offerings. By managing cross-functional projects from initial concept through to execution, you ensure alignment with overall commercial priorities and franchise objectives. A key focus of the position is to provide structured guidance, tools, and best practices to our franchise partners, enabling improvements in operational efficiency and consumer experience. A Retail Business Development Manager you will lead initiatives aimed at optimizing store concepts, layouts, merchandising strategies, and service offerings to strengthen brand presence and competitiveness. Additionally, the role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams within the retail network, contributing to sustainable growth and long-term profitability. While the primary focus of this position is business development, the role also includes a variety of administrative and operational tasks. As part of a small, agile team, successful candidates are expected to demonstrate flexibility and a hands-on approach, contributing to less complex activities when required to ensure smooth operations and team success.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development or retail operations, preferably within a franchise or multi-site environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to implementation.
  • Commercial acumen and analytical ability to interpret performance data, identify trends, and drive actionable improvements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of building strong relationships across diverse teams.
  • Hands-on and adaptable mindset, comfortable balancing strategic responsibilities with operational and administrative tasks, preferably in a “mid size” company setting.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyse performance data to identify improvement areas and execute corrective actions.
  • Act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.
  • Support stores with back-office processes, problem-solving, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure alignment between retail development activities and brand strategy.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams within the retail network.
  • Develop and execute business development plans that fuel long-term growth.
