About The Position

We’re looking for a Regional Business Development Manager to expand our footprint and win new business within an assigned geographic territory. This is a high-impact, front-line role for a motivated sales professional who thrives on prospecting, relationship-building, and turning opportunity into revenue. If you enjoy being out in the market, creating your own momentum, and closing new accounts, this role is for you.

Requirements

  • Proven success in business development, territory sales, or new account acquisition
  • Strong understanding of industrial distribution or fastener-related markets
  • Confidence engaging decision-makers at multiple levels
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Ability to think strategically while acting quickly on opportunities
  • Strong organization, CRM discipline, and pipeline management skills
  • Comfort working independently in a high-visibility, travel-heavy role
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of business development or territory sales experience
  • 2+ years in fastener distribution or a related industrial environment
  • Demonstrated success winning new customers and growing regional revenue

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new customer accounts within your territory
  • Prospect through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and regional events
  • Build trusted relationships with purchasing managers, buyers, operations leaders, and executives
  • Create and present tailored solutions that solve customer challenges and deliver value
  • Manage and grow a strong sales pipeline while exceeding revenue goals
  • Execute structured territory plans to ensure consistent market coverage
  • Leverage local market insights to uncover niche and quick-win opportunities
  • Represent the company at trade shows, business associations, and community events
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term customer success
