About The Position

New Riff Distilling is seeking energetic and committed Brand Ambassadors to join their team. This role involves amplifying the company's message and impact by providing a premier, one-of-a-kind experience for guests. The Brand Ambassador will report to the Retail Manager and ensure a first-class experience for every visitor to the Distillery. This is a part-time position averaging 20-25 hours per week, with shifts typically scheduled between 10:00 AM and 8:30 PM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

  • High-energy, gregarious, positive, and team-focused individual with a high level of customer service understanding and experience.
  • Strong commitment to learning and educating others about New Riff’s culture, history, and the broader spirits industry, especially Kentucky Bourbon.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to provide consistent experiences in line with brand standards.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Keen attention to detail. Perceptive and able to think quickly on your feet.
  • Comfortable in a multi-paced work environment.
  • Naturally charismatic and articulate, with a strong ability to connect and engage with a wide and diverse customer base.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Able to stand, walk, climb stairs, squat and bend.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Available to work a flexible work schedule which includes evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Retail or Hospitality experience.
  • Experience in service, spirits, or related industry.
  • Experience in customer-facing situations, workspace organization and flow.
  • Attention to detail - Inventory management, product displays, organization etc...
  • General Point of Sale systems experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience dealing with all demographics of customers.
  • Detail-oriented and able to stay focused in high-pressure situations, especially during busy product releases.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and build rapport through conversation and recommendations.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Answer the phone and handle inquiries.
  • Maintain the stock room and set up merchandise displays.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized sales area.
  • Assist in executing special product releases.
  • Assist in shipping orders.
  • Receive and organize deliveries.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding events, experiences, and availability.
  • Schedule and coordinate site tours, including pickups for online order fulfillment.
  • Support the New Riff branded events team as needed.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to strengthen customer relationships and support brand growth.
